Peter Sblendorio
Peter is a multi-platform journalist in New York City. He is a sports reporter for the New York Daily News, where he has worked since 2015 and previously served as the Senior Film Writer.
He is a BBWAA member who covers the Yankees and Mets, as well as the Knicks, Nets, Giants, Jets and more. He has covered the World Series, the NBA playoffs, the WNBA Finals and the U.S. Open.
In his former role, Peter interviewed entertainers including Ringo Starr, Harrison Ford, Halle Berry, Billy Joel, Natalie Portman, Denzel Washington, Robert De Niro, Kobe Bryant, Viola Davis, Matt Damon and Christian Bale. He covered Taylor Swift, Paul McCartney, Billy Joel and Jay-Z concerts; dozens of movie premieres, junkets and festivals; and the Grammy Awards.
